During my recent stay at the Cannevie, I was captivated by its serene setting in the Po Delta, the perfect culmination of relaxation and culinary exploration. Nestled at the edge of a nature preserve, the hotel is just a short drive from the Adria coast and the enchanting city of Venice. The highlight of my visit was the dining experience at the on-site restaurant, a testament to local culinary innovation. I savored exquisite grilled fish dishes, each expertly prepared with fresh ingredients from the Delta, including Comacchio eel and clams Goro. The homemade pastas paired beautifully with each dish, showcasing the chef's talent in marrying flavors. Breakfast was a delightful affair, offering an array of options including fresh fruit, handmade cappuccinos, and eggs prepared to order. The sociable staff made me feel welcome, and their attention to detail enhanced my experience. With ample parking and a remote yet easily accessible location, the Cannevie proves ideal for those seeking a blend of gourmet indulgence and natural beauty. The inviting outdoor spaces of the park were perfect for a quiet coffee break, allowing me to fully unwind amid the stunning surroundings. I look forward to returning for another culinary adventure in this hidden gem.
